Oraciones del Papa por inundaciones en Chile y Perú

(RV).-  En nombre del Papa Francisco el card. Pietro Parolin envió sendos telegramas a mons. Ivo Scapolo, Nuncio Apostólico en Chile, y a mons. James Patrick Green, Nuncio Apostólico en el Perú, por las recientes graves inundaciones en ambos países sudamericanos. El Santo Padre reza por las personas afectadas por las inundaciones que han provocado muertos y daños, y pide al Señor conceder “consuelo y fortaleza” a todos aquellos que han sido golpeados por esta desgracia.  El Papa exhorta también a las instituciones y a todas las personas de buena voluntad para que, “movidas por sentimientos de solidaridad fraterna y de caridad cristiana”, presten una “ayuda eficaz para superar estos momentos difíciles”.

Señor Nuncio:

Ruego a Vuestra Excelencia que tenga a bien transmitir el siguiente mensaje:

«ANTE LAS GRAVES INUNDACIONES QUE HAN TENIDO LUGAR EN ZONAS DE CHILE Y DE PERÚ, OCASIONANDO VÍCTIMAS Y CUANTIOSOS DAÑOS MATERIALES, EL SANTO PADRE OFRECE SUFRAGIOS POR EL ETERNO DESCANSO DE LOS FALLECIDOS Y PIDE AL SEÑOR QUE CONCEDA SU CONSUELO Y FORTALEZA A LOS AFECTADOS POR LA DESGRACIA.

ASIMISMO, EL PAPA FRANCISCO EXHORTA A LAS INSTITUCIONES Y A TODOS LOS HOMBRES DE BUENA VOLUNTAD A QUE, MOVIDOS POR SENTIMIENTOS DE SOLIDARIDAD FRATERNA Y CARIDAD CRISTIANA, PRESTEN UNA AYUDA EFICAZ PARA SUPERAR ESTOS DIFÍCILES MOMENTOS, A LA VEZ QUE LOS BENDICE DE CORAZÓN.
